1) I’m 6′2″ tall
2) I weigh 160 (ish) lbs
3) I have a Bachelor’s of Mathematics - Honours Computer Science Major from the University of Waterloo
4) I live in Toronto, ON
5) I was born in St Catharines, ON
6) I lived in San Francisco from May-August, 2000.
7) I’ve only had 2 actual, serious girlfriends (one for a year, the other for almost 4 years). Make that 3, now that I’m with Liz.
I wear size 12 shoes
9) My first computer was a 386SX 25 with 2mb ram and 105mb hard drive space
10) I have a half yorkie, half westie named Pepper
11) I read a LOT, usually at least a book a week.
12) I didn’t have my first real kiss until I was 16, almost 17.
13) I didn’t lose my virginity until age 19.
14) I first got drunk at a keg party at age 17.
15) I play volleyball at least once a week.
16) I’ve owned 7 cell phones.
17) Between 1996 and 2001 I probably spent upwards of $10,000 on computer equipment
18) Since then, I’ve spent maybe $500.
19) I have a 27″ TV.
20) I play my Gamecube on said 27″ TV.
21) I’ve used computers since I was about 10 years old.
22) I’ve worked with computers since age 15.
23) Every job I’ve had since age 15 has been in an office. I’ve never worked retail/service/anything.
24) My parents got divorced when I was 5 years old.
25) My dad died of a brain aneurysm when I was 16.
26) I have one roommate, Chris, my best friend from high school. We sorta lost touch when I went away to school and he stayed here, but started hanging out again when I finished school. We’ve known each other since the 6th grade.
27) I love football, right now my favourite team is the Bills, but that changes from time to time.
28) I hate baseball and hockey, unless it’s playoffs, and even then I only get vaguely interested in the games.
29) In high school my volleyball club team won provincial gold, and national bronze. The medals are in a box somewhere in my closet. On top of that, we probably won 15 other medals in tournaments for the year.
30) The next year, my volleyball club team didn’t win ONE medal. In ANY tournament.
31) I’ve gotten drunk enough to throw up on myself in my sleep not once, not twice, but thrice.
32) I’m not very well travelled. I’ve been to Prince Edward Island, Quebec, Buffalo, Florida, Redmond (WA), and Cuba (twice). That’s it.
33) I paid $1000 for a pair of skis last year and used them once.
34) My watch battery has been dead for at least 6 months. It’s forever 6:45.
35) I use my cell phone as my alarm clock, because my alarm clock doesn’t work reliably as an alarm clock.
36) I’ve seen Def Leppard in concert twice, Pearl Jam once, and Bryan Adams three times. These are the top 6 concerts I’ve ever been to.
37) Since 1996(ish) I’ve owned 5 pairs of sunglasses. I still have two (update, now 1 due to a pair lost in the ocean) pairs of them, the other 3 are gone into the ether, broken. Total cost: about $600
38) I drive a 2002 Neon R/T - black with black leather interior. I’ve scraped the side of it twice since June 2002.
39) I have 5 piercings. Left nipple, navel, industrial in the right ear, two regular lower lobe piercings in the left ear. I used to have my tongue pierced, but I took it out when I swallowed the ball.
40) I got my first piercing in 7th grade, at the urging of my mother.
41) My mother frequently comments that she may have created a monster.
42) I have one tattoo. I hate describing it, so here’s a picture
43) I use a trackball at work, and a mouse at home.
44) I’ve used the same Amazon.com recruiting pen for over 2.5 years.
45) I listen almost every form of music, except for maybe country.
46) I’m probably the most laidback person in the WORLD. I don’t really let anything bother me.
47) I avoid conflict like crazy. In the almost 4 years that I dated Jenn, we never really had one serious fight.
48) From several years of playing volleyball and jamming fingers, I now can not wear rings. My knuckles are huge, but my fingers are skinny, so rings that fit over the knuckles dangle in a very irritating manner.
49) I have one sibling, my sister Rachel, who is almost 3 years younger than me.
50) I own an electric and an acoustic guitar, and I really can’t play either one.
51) French Onion Sunchips are my favourite flavour of chip.
52) I can eat whatever I want and gain no weight.
53) I love to dance. I dance like a maniac almost all the time when I go out.
54) I can solve a Rubik’s Cube in less than 5 minutes.
55) The longest I’ve ever gone without sleep is about 30 hours.
56) The longest I’ve ever slept in a stretch is about 18 hours, when I got my wisdom teeth pulled.
57) My apartment has a mirror ball, AND a fog machine.
58) I only buy kleenex with the lotion, to save my poor sensitive nose.
59) I rarely watch TV anymore. The only shows I ever watch are Friends, Seinfeld re-runs and The Simpsons.
60) I’m firmly of the belief that The Simpsons is only watchable (with a few exceptions) starting in about the 3rd season.
61) I own almost 200 cd’s. Most were purchased before 1999.
62) I’ve only ever picked up in a bar ONCE. It was a ghastly mistake that I hope never to repeat.
63) My first name means “Little King.”
64) I have permanent scars on my lower back and hips from friction burns playing volleyball.
65) Since 1996 I have lived in 12 different places, and I’ve moved 17 times (obviously moved to the same place a few times)
66) My first car was a white 1997 Dodge Neon - I think I like the Neon, huh?
67) I have a minidisc player that I never use.
68) I also have a portable CD player that I never use.

70) I enjoy indoor rock climbing. I haven’t been able to do it as much as I’d like, but I think it’s a total blast!
71) I think I’m one of the few people outside of Quebec who drink Molson Dry.
72) I have a pink flamingo mini-beanie baby on top of my computer monitor. Its name is Flamingo Jenn (it was a present from my ex-girlfriend Jenn)
73) I’ve been known to wear a giant Tazmanian Devil costume on occasion.
74) When I get drunk, I like to climb things. In university I would climb trees, lightposts, buildings, whatever… I don’t know why. I seem to have gotten this urge under control, but I still feel it on occasion.
75) I probably spend upwards of $1000/year on books.
76) My birthday is Feb 12, 1978.
77) I own 5 pairs of shoes - sandals, Sketchers, gym shoes, casual dress shoes, and real (ie lace-up, pointy toe) dress shoes.
78) I shave using an electric shaver. Never learned how to use blades.
79) I can type at about 80 wpm.
80) I’ve lost count of the programming languages I’ve learned.
81) I love learning new languages, but I always forget them.
82) My background is about 3/4 Irish, 1/8 French and 1/8 English.
83) I own more pieces of Ikea furniture than anyone I know.
84) I wear jeans almost every day.
86) I haven’t had a physical in over 10 years.
87) I don’t even have a family doctor. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a family doctor in this day and age?
88) I think I’m allergic to bananas. I’ve never gotten this verified medically - see #87.
89) Like my dad, I’m going bald extremely early in life (ie - my hair started falling out at about age 16). I’m perfectly happy with this, it means I can shave my head real short and never have to worry about styling. Or bedhead.
90) My wallet has too many cards in it (21, to be precise) to leave it in my back pocket and sit down comfortably.
91) I dabble in photography. My dad was hugely into it, and I find it extremely interesting.

93) I’ve had multiple women ask me, while they were dancing with me at the club, if I was gay. Wait, why would I be dancing with you out of the blue if I was?
94) I’ve had a girlfriend every Valentine’s Day for the past 7 years.
95) My favourite season is the Fall. I like the colours, and the smells.
96) My second favourite season is the Spring. I like the colours, and the smells.
97) I’ve had a gym membership for about 1.5 years at my current gym. I have gone approximately 25 times. Maybe 30.
98) Growing up, I wanted to be a doctor. Specifically, a pediatrician. I didn’t turn to computers until about age 15.
99) I was tempted to be a super geek, and make this list only have 4 items. If you don’t know why that makes me a super geek, you are not a super geek.
100) I can’t even come up with 100 things about myself, without one of them being the fact that I can’t come up with 100 things about myself.
